Having returned from near 40 degree heat on an Egyptian break, our team headed back to the cooler UK waters of Stoney Cove at the end of September for another busy open water weekend! We were pleasantly surprised however - there was some rain, but overall the weather was good and the visibility in the water was amazing. We were also rewarded with record numbers of fish - spurred on by the warm weather there were literally thousands of perch in the water, which in turn lead to a glut of pike out on the hunt and the spectacular sight of free diving birds. We had a mixture of courses going on - Rescue, Advanced, Drysuit, and Open Water. Well done to all out students - it was a great weekend!
