The PADI Assistant Instructor course serves as the initial segment of the Instructor Development Course and can be accomplished in just two days following completion of online independent E-Learning. Throughout the course, you'll accrue hands-on experience and deepen your understanding of the PADI System of diver education. In your role as a PADI Assistant Instructor, you'll deliver classroom and confined water presentations and assess PADI Open Water Diver course surface skills (under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor). Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to teach select PADI Specialty courses, facilitate PADI Discover Scuba Diving experiences, and oversee PADI Seal Team AquaMissions. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in this course.
