Northampton Scuba School News Q1

After restarting lessons at Northampton Scuba School in September 2021 and getting our first Open Water course in the water in November, we reopened after a well earned Christmas break on the 9th January 2022. Very quickly we found ourselves back in open water despite the winter temperatures, as our open water newbies elected to press on to Advanced Open Water and their Drysuit Specialities.
With more new open water students in the pool, we were hit early doors by covid absences and then we had to shut down to accommodate the club Thailand trip. But our progress was constant and we were able to finish up the quarter with another three newly qualified Open Water Divers.
We also certified a whole raft of Speciality divers in Wreck, Deep, Dry and Enriched Air, and added some Emergency First Response certifications too! Altogether 25 certifications in 12 weeks - 3 Open Waters, 7 Advanced Open Waters, 3 Deep, 4 Drysuit, 3 Wreck, 3 EFR, and 2 Nitrox.
